2024 Update

Hey. It’s been almost two years since I’ve updated here. A lot has happened and I’ll get to that in a moment. I’ve spent the last few weeks working on getting the website switched to a different server, and editing photos of my past. I’m starting to take my photography a bit more seriously and working on getting some revenue streams going. With that said, let’s talk about mid 2022 until now.

I finished the Cohos Trail on August 5th, 2022. In September, my dad had a stroke due to complications from cancer. He ended up passing in January of 2023. In June of 2023, I had plans to head back out on the Cohos for an unsupported out and back and ended up having to quit after the first day due to my water filter not working. I had plans to head back out later that year, but it ended up raining the majority of summer and I had a ton of van problems. In October, I set out on a two day trek of all the peaks surrounding the valley and aptly named it, “The Pequawket Traverse”

Winter never really showed up and in January of this year, I had to say goodbye to my 19 year old dog. I had her for 17 of those 19 years. She was a rescue, a puppy mill breeder dog who didn’t know how to go outside or be a dog. She learned very quickly and we had an amazing life together, full of adventure. I retired her in 2017 when she had to have hip surgery.

So, here I am in late spring of 2024. I’m planning all the hikes I want to do this year, the content I want to produce, the art I want to create, the life I am currently working toward…ie: “the five year plan”. Anyways, I don’t have too much else I want to share at the moment. I’ll be back soon. I do have another Cohos Trail update from 2022 in my drafts and I am blessed with a photographic memory, so I will continue to update the days on trail from two years ago in great detail.
